The town of Price is located in central Utah at the northwestern edge of the Colorado Plateau and at an elevation of over 5,500 feet above sea level.
Just 8 miles east of town is Nine-Mile Canyon, the area's most prominent attraction. The Canyon features some of the best-preserved examples of ancient Native American art as well as remnants of dwellings.
In town the CEU Prehistoric Museum in Price displays artifacts found in the area including paleontological and archeological displays and to cool off visitors can jump into the Desert Wave Swimming Pool.
